Kenya Servia is a Business Development and Outreach Specialist with the North Carolina Health Information Exchange Authority (NC HIEA). Since joining the team in April 2018, she has been working to educate health care providers about the legislative mandate to connect to the State-designated Health Information Exchange, NC HealthConnex. Prior to her current position, Kenya served as a Public Health Program Consultant with the NC Communicable Disease Branch. Kenya earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Social Work from Elizabeth City State University, and a Master of Public Administration, from North Carolina Central University, in Durham, NC.
